The helichrysum flower, also knows as everlastings, are a member of the sunflower family. A narrow-leaf herb, the helichrysum plant produces a distinct cluster of yellow flowers. The essential oil of the helichrysum plant contains a chemical compound known as arzanol, which is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Helichrysum is also traditionally used to help with skin rashes, and to reduce scarring as it can assist with the regeneration of skin cells.
Blends well with: Bergamot, black pepper, clary sage, clove, cypress, juniper berry, oregano, thyme.
